Neighborhood Supper Volunteer Opportunity

Neighborhood Supper

Volunteer Opportunity!

No cooking, no cleaning,

you don’t even have to do the dishes!

A few long-time veterans of the Neighborhood Supper would like to take a time-out from the Board of Directors. We welcome others from our church to come on board, test drive and take it on a few simple tasks.

It’s true! Board members are not required to cook or even attend the dinners if they care not to, they only meet four times a year and the average meeting is about 30 minutes. They’re looking for a little help with simple bookkeeping, accounting, decision making and … well, what can you offer?

It is a good place for someone who would like to get involved in the church but do not have a lot of time to commit.. It’s a good place to meet people, make friends with friends you have yet to meet.

The next meeting is Sept 14 at 7 pm at CCoL. Questions? Of course you do! Reach out to Steve Converse or Pete and Jeannine Scantlebury—the veterans.
