Advent Bible Study

The Monday Night Bible Study will forgo its usual and customary reading and discussing a particular book of the Bible for the month of December. The readings have been selected with an intention of discussing themes in light of the Advent Season. This is an excellent opportunity to try out Bible Study and enjoy discussing the themes of Advent found in scripture.

It is also a joy to report that the Monday Night Bible Study has completed its reading and discussion of all 66 chapters of Isaiah! It has been a long sixth months, but the group has diligently read each and every verse of the great prophet’s writing aloud, in some cases from multiple translations. The discussions have been thought provoking and the various theological perspectives found in Isaiah have been explored all in hopes of gaining a better understanding of God’s actions in the world, and discerning how God would have us live our lives.

The Monday Night Bible Study meets at 7:30 pm in the Youth Room on the lower level. Bring your own Bible, or use one of the many available. We love it when newcomers join the group and bring new ideas and fresh perspectives. Hope to see you! See Gary Gumuchian with any questions.
