I Am the Potter, You Are the Clay

As worship begins, expect to see a potter working his potter’s wheel in the area of the Communion Table.  Rick Roth of Woods & Water Pottery will be creating throughout the worship service.  He will pause and interact with the children at the time of the Children’s message.  The theme for the message of the day, offered by one of your pastors will be “I am the Potter, You are the Clay.”  Naturally hymn selections will fit with the theme.

Rick Roth is a lifetime Littleton resident.  A half dozen years ago, his wife encouraged him to learn how to work pottery. He listened and discovered that he had skill and passion. He particularly enjoys creating life-like woodland pieces. When he isn’t working clay, he can be found as a caretaker of the Sarah Doublet nature preserve or showing animals related with Creature Teachers.
