Giving to the church is a way to grow in faith.
We recognize that the church asks you to support many causes.  Your pledge is your fundamental form of support for the ministry of the church.  Members and friends of CCOL give to the church as a promise, as an act of devotion, as a form of worship. We believe that it is important to demonstrate our gratitude toward and dependence upon God through an offering of our lives, including our time, talents and treasure.  We have the opportunity to make a difference through the missions God calls CCOL to fulfill in our church family, our communities, and the world.

Jesus put it this way: Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Normally, we think of giving to those things that mean a lot to us.  Jesus says, “Give to something and it will begin to mean more to you.”  A gift of devotion to God, a gift of our time, of our talents, of our money, helps our heart grow in devotion.  So giving to God’s work through the church is a way to grow in our relationship with God.  The biblical guide, or tithe, is 10%.
